Papers of Gladys L. Johnson, a long-time resident of Evansville, Wis., concerning her girlhood and family life. Included are diaries written ca. 1910 while she was a student at Lawrence University and which describe her social life and classes; two letters written to her by her father (1915 and 1916); a letter (1932) from granddaughter Ruth Johnson of Wausau full of details about her school activities; a diary (1872-1877) kept by Addie Argall, a relative from her mother's family, with details about girlhood activities. There are also newspaper obituaries for Gladys and other family members, and Johnson family group sheets prepared by Irene Holroyd.
